WebHome Assistant uses the YAML syntax for configuration. YAML might take a while to get used to but is really powerful in allowing you to express complex configurations. While more and more integrations are configured through the UI, for some, you will add code in your configuration.yaml file to specify its settings. WebDo this by navigating to Developer Tools -> YAML and and then clicking on the Check configuration button. When it’s valid, it will show the text “Configuration valid!”. In order for the Check Configuration ” button to be visible, you must enable “Advanced Mode” on your user profile. Now Restart Home Assistant.
