WebFeb 14, 2024 · Undeniably, the DeWalt 20V Max Compact Brushless Drill/Driver DCD777C2 is an excellent cordless drill. It handed our most challenging drilling and driving tasks with relative ease, usually tying for the top spot overall. It's not overly expensive and is decently convenient, but we wish it offered better battery life. WebRight Tool for the Job. Went with DeWalt because of past durability. Been using a 1/2" drill/driver to run deck screws and the difference is amazing. Light weight, easy to handle, and drives 3-1/2" screws with no effort. Switched to the 2ah battery to reduce weight and still get good run time.
